We Won An Emmy For Games Of Thrones

The visual effects supervisor of El Ranchito David Ramos has brought to Spain one of the two Emmys that our country has won, for the moment, in the 70th edition of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awards. On the weekend of September 8th and 9th, the two Galas in which they presented the Creative Arts Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles. In the first of them, episode 6 of the seventh season of Game of Thrones, titled Beyond the Wall, won the award for the best visual effects, a category in which El Ranchito started with two nominations (the other was for the 10th episode of Lost in Space), and that David Ramos picked up along with the rest of the nominated team. The second Spanish Emmy of the night was for make-up artist Ana Lozano for the series American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace. On September 17th the third Emmy Gala will take place, in which Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas, nominated by American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace and Genius: Picasso respectively, could further increase the presence of our country in this edition that already has Spanish flavor.
