With a Bachelor in Physics and Astrophysics, he is one of the most senior VFX Supervisors in the Spanish cinema. Awarded with eight Goyas for Best Special Effects for films such as “Common Wealth, “The Impossible” or “A Monster Calls”. Felix initiated his professional career in 1985 as a software developer on “Star Knight, the first Spanish film with visual effects. In 1987 he joined the audiovisual company Telson and in 2004 founded, with a group of VFX professionals, El Ranchito, where he currently stands the position of president. He has also been a VFX Supervisor for films and TV series such as “Game of Thrones”, “The Impossible”, “A Monster Calls”, “The Homesman”, “Biutiful, “Agora”, Cold Skin”, “Gun City”, “Eye for an Eye”, or “The Vault”. Currently a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain and also belongs to the small group of Spanish artists who are also members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of the United States.
