Society of the Snow on its way to the Oscars

J.A. Bayona's "Society of the Snow" film advances in the race to the Oscars 2024 with nominations in four categories on the Shortlist.

The film "Society of the Snow", directed by J.A. Bayona, has achieved a significant accomplishment by appearing on the Hollywood Academy's shortlist in four prestigious categories: Best International Film, Music, Makeup and Hairstyling, and Visual Effects.

It is in the visual effects category where El Ranchito has three nominees, Félix Bergés (President), responsible for vfx supervision along with Laura Pedro (VFX Supervisor), and Ezequiel Larrú, VFX Supervisor at El Ranchito. Together with Carolina Pinillos, VFX Producer of the company, they have played key roles in the execution of the project, highlighting the technical and creative skills of the whole team.

With the shortlist confirmed, attention now turns to the final nominations, scheduled for January 23rd. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team for this remarkable recognition, particularly in the visual effects category.
