Nominees for two VES awards

El Ranchito has been nominated for two Visual Effects Society (VES) awards in the categories of Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature, for Society of The Snow, and Outstanding Animated Character in an Episode, Commercial, Game Cinematic or Real-Time Project, for the creature Nichevo'ya The Shadow Monster created for the final episode of the second season of Shadow and Bone, titled No Funerals. Both productions are from Netflix. For Society of The Snow our VFX Supervisors Félix Bergés, Laura Pedro and Ezequiel Larrú are nominated, and for Shadow and Bone our colleagues from the Animation department José María del Fresno, Matthieu Poirey, Carlos Puigdollers and Guillermo Ramos. The VES Awards celebrate their 22nd edition this year and will be presented next Wednesday, February 21 in Los Angeles. El Ranchito already has six VES awards: one for The Impossible, four for seasons 5 and 7 of Game of Thrones and one for the second season of See.
