Our COO is a senior postproduction professional in Spain, who has participated in more than 450 movies and 340 episodes for tv shows. Pioneer in DI (Digital Intermediate), digital cinema implementation, adaptation, and development in workflows to 4k platforms and Dolby Vision, Juan José coincided with our President Félix Bergés in 1998 at “The Miracle of P. Tinto”, one of the first movies which used massive VFX. He has worked in Atanoe, Telson, and Fotofilm / Deluxe, and in projects such as “Now & Them”, the first original series by Apple+ made in Spain, “Cable Girls”, the first Spanish original series by Netflix, and Garcia!, first Spanish original 4k Dolby Vision by HBO Max. Carretero is also an academic in Arts and cinematographic movies in Spain, and teacher in ECAM (Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid) and UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
